Updated Mask Policy

SPORTSCARE NEW MASK POLICY

After talking with the CDC healthcare provider hotline, and the head Covid-19 specialist at the Georgia Community Health Centers for the Atlanta Metropolitan Area, we have modified our mask wearing policy. The policy is based on the Georgia county positivity rate that is published weekly by the CDC each Thursday afternoon. Our John s Creek office is in Forsyth County, and our Duluth office is in Gwinnett County. If the positivity rate is low or medium in the county that your clinic preference is located, mask wearing is optional for patients and staff based on your personal risk level. If you decide to wear a mask, let us know if you want your physical therapist to wear one as well. Also let us know if you are at high risk, and prefer to be treated in a private room. If you are at high risk, your physical therapist will wear a mask as well. Please let us know prior to your appointment so that we can prepare for your request.

If the positivity rate is high in the county in which your clinic choice is located, it will be mandatory for the patients and staff to wear masks.
